For my geography class, I have to make a website about the global water crisis. So, I was wondering what your opinions were? Is enough being done to help it? Should we be having a crisis like this? What more should we do to help? Etc. Your answers are greatly appreciated!

The problem with water is not only pollution but more importantly the scarcity of it. Population is rising exponentially but water resources are finite. Aquifers are being pumped to supply water to urban and agricultural areas at a rate much greater than they are being recharged. The water crisis is very real. Desalination and pollution controls are the only real solutions.

The internet is a great source of information about the global water crisis. Just be careful because there are shysters like Franzoncodin who pollutes good information with crap. His plan was to line the Pasig River (in the Philippines) with cow dung and water lilies (to clean up and reuse the water). Of course, his is just a ruse to have something to show potential investors. But it can make your research difficult. Just use caution and good judgment.

Global water crisis is rather vague. Every country in the world and indeed every region has a unique relationship with water, but yes, it is probably true to say that wherever you go you will find that humans waste and pollute their water, which is mad when you consider it is the one thing without which we cannot survive.
