NO! All these predictions are baloney!. . .I don't believe in it because it would take millions of years for the world to be unlivable. . .

Actually, according to the Inca's calender the world is supposed to end in 2012, without any help from environment issues. Scientists have agreed that some things will be occuring during that time, such as the poles of the Earth will switch. Last time this happened, the ice age occured. Even with that, the sun is in a very active state during 2012, and will cause it to be a very hot year at the least. So, even if people are going to kill us in 15 years time by our horrible wasteful and very harmful habits, it doesn't matter. Cuz we'll be dead already.

It won't due currently existing environmental issues. The Earth has been around long before humans and it will likely be around long after we're gone. The earth IS getting warmer, but recent research is showing that it has nothing to do with humans (see link).

Of course, anything is possible and we could have a massive nuclear war, the poles could switch, etc. However, it's not a good idea to get caught-up in the what-ifs. MANY people have already predicted the world to end on several dates that have come and gone. It could be right, but it could also be wrong. What would you do if you quit your job, spent all your money, and did everything you ever wanted to do because you thought the world was going to end, and it didn't?

Short of the myth of rapture, the Earth will not end for a very long time. Most of the lore surrounding end days deals with a huge change or shift; the end of the world as we now know it...

There's Nostradamus's prediction about 2026, and the Mayan Calender ending in 2012...

There are also many positive prophesies about what happens after these turning points.

Legend of the Rainbow Warriors;

"There will come a time when the Earth grows sick. When it does a new tribe will gather from all the peoples and cultures of the World who believe in deeds not words. They will work to heal it, they will be known as "The Warriors of the Rainbow".

This is a vision of peace and prosperity for all of mankind as well as all of Great Spirit's creation...

We are all related.

The ancient Mayans predicted a disaster, ending life as we know it, in 2012. They record 3 great floods in the past, the most recent of which coincides not only with science, but also with the great flood of the bible. Their calendar went back REALLY far. They thought that a great flood, big enough to cause the earth to shift off it's axis, would occur in 2012.

I don't think it is true at all. That is nonsence. Well something else might happen if we don't watch the environment but the world won't end.

They've been saying this for years, I don't think so. It might go through devastion but the earth has been here millions of years and believe it will stay here even longer. We may not be here though.

God times is not our time....Only our Lord knows the exact time and date he will send the Devil into the pit for 1,000 years. People will still be on earth. There will be a seven year tribulation.
