No. Restrictions on environmental pollution doesn't stop business, but rather makes business look at alternative solutions. Innovation is a key component to capitalism - the environmental movement asks business to think differently, to be innovative. Clean energy sources, such as hydrogen, solar and wind have the potential to become industries where capitalism can thrive. In addition, industries which create additional pollution create potentially higher health risks which can effect the health of workers, thus affecting the bottom line of corporations, especially in areas where human capital is the resource.
